If you use Lightning on multiple objects and then zap one of those objects at the same time Lightning is striking, neither will do damage. I've had this happen to me several times on the inferno dragon. I will lightning a tower + inferno dragon. Lightning will hit tower first and as it is going for inferno dragon I have already dropped zap on it. (takes level 4 lightning and zap to kill it completely in tournaments/friend play) It will reset the inferno dragon, but no damage at all.
