This is quite strange.
I recently played a challenge and the opponent placed a troop to block my bandit, but after she killed the troop, she targeted to the King Tower. This may seem normal, but the issue is, she wasn't even 4 "units" away >_>. That looked like 2 units, or MAX 3. I'm quite sure of it, because it wasn't just barely less than an executioner's range when she started dashing.
