iOS Low Battery warnings ruin slide troop placement

I always slide my troops out onto the field from the 4 available at the bottom.

When the troop is where I want, I lift up to place it.

Last night I got a Low Battery popup notification in the middle of a a slide/swipe placement operation to summon a rocket.

I had to dismiss the iOS popup to continue.

The rocket went to the location my finger was just before going to dismiss the popup (which happened to be in the middle of the arena and hit nothing).

So...My counter failed, my tower fell, and the elixir wasted lost me the match. And then I got laugh emote spammed at the end.

Maybe not easy to fix but I encounter low batter warnings (20% and 10%) a fair amount while playing the game on public transport (a bus).

Disabling those (if I can, at the iOS level) probably isn't a smart idea because I don't want the phone to die in the middle of a match.
