General Why the split deployment of troops is inconsistent? Please fix it!

Was surprised not many people know, when one of the enemy tower has been taken down, troops like barbs, goblins, 3musks can't not split into two teams even you still place it on the middle of the field.
This weird mechanism doesn't seem to be built intentionally.

Please can anyone fix this in the next update?
