The Biggest problem of clash royaleHey everyone this is OhNoAnotherOne from Victis Honor. Finally supercell are back from their trip and planning on a update, and finally they are listen and ask their community. I will point out all the current problems and how to solve them in this thread. Any discussion is welcome, but, please no posts about how *** card is not op and easy to counter.

Problem 1: Match making

The matchmaking problem isn’t new anymore. It exists in all the past metas and especially, this meta. So many people have said this that the matchmaking is rigged, if it don’t want you to win, you can’t win. Someone in my old clan spend nearly 30 days at the legendary wall. So many times, only one more match until legendary, he lose, and it keep happening until he just quit and stop playing this game. Then same thing happened to me, I got to legendary arena in the second x-bow meta [which is the 5 seconds x-bow, but still have the range]. It take me around a week just drifting around the legendary wall. I believe that the same thing happened to other peoples.

Counter deck
Not only the matchmaking system cause arena “walls”, it also pair you with a counter deck after a few wins. This just happened to me a few days ago, I was having success with my golem deck, but after a few matches, I face 4 three musketeer decks in a roll and I only win 1 of them (3 musk is the dead counter to golem if you don’t know). How op the matchmaking system is?! It strikes you nearly everyday if you played around 10 or more matches. Just today, I’m testing out my hog quadfecta deck. Still, after a few wins, I’m keep facing those giant and royal giants. I just won 5 matches in a roll, after that, I faced 3 giants, 4 royal giants, and 1 golem. Obviously I lose to around half of them because my deck just can’t handle too much tanks.

Unfair matches
The matchmaking system are also creating unfair matches. Just check arena 1’s TV royale, and you can tell everything. Supercell, I’m asking you do you want new players to quit right at arena 1? If not, then change the matchmaking system.

SolutionsI know that It’s pretty challenging for Supercell to change the matchmaking system. So here is just a simple solution: Make matchmaking system matches player on both levels and trophies. So the matchmaking system will only search players that are the same level, and also in +-200 trophies. This will pretty much solve everything. Trolls at arena 1 can only match with other trolls. Main while you won’t face so many counter decks after some wins. So it won’t result in when you are at 2700 during reset, you face level 13s.


Problem 2: Too hard to progressing

It takes forever to progress. Only spending a large amount ($500+) can have significant progressing shown. Unlike other games, in clash royale, there are no difference shown between a player plays 1 hours a day and a player plays 24 hours a day. Everyone are progressing at the same speed unless you spend a large amount of money. Seems very fair, but the truth behind is that, regardless how much time you played, you are not getting more rewards for playing more. This doesn’t make sense! And the victory gold is just a joke. At legendary arena, 20 golds each match, and limit 20 times each day. That’s only 0.1% golds for buying a legendary in shop.

Chest cycle and drop rates
Even the chest rewards are having problems. You can only keep 4 chests at a time. In a whole chest cycle, I can say 65% chests are those useless silver chests. Main while, only 4 magical and 4 giant chests. That’s it! In a whole cycle it don’t even guarantee you a super magical chest! How could you ever progress. Getting a max account in 5 years is impossible. Why does everyone have to progress in the same speed?! So no matter what we do, we can only keep 4 chests at a time, and unlock 1 chest at a time. What to progress faster? Buy gems!

SolutionChest cycle and drop rates
At first, I want to point out that, there shouldn’t be a designed chest cycle, the chests we get should just be totally random! Here is my idea: After you won a battle, you can spin and get a random chest. The spinner will include 70 silver chests, 20 golden chests, 5 giant chest, 4 magical chest, and 1 super magical chest. So there are a total of 100 chests in the spinner. Which means get a SMC is 1 in 100. You can choose to spin again for 100 gems.

More crown=More rewards:
Right now, no matter how much crown you get in a battle, you just get a single chest with battle gold. But that doesn’t seems to be fair. So my solution is that, if you get 2 crown or 3 crown, you get some free chest speed ups. When you only get 1 crown or no crown in a battle, you don’t get speed ups. When you get 2 crowns in a battle, you get x amount of common speed up (for the amount, see speed ups section). When you get 3 crown in a battle, you get x amount of rare speed up. If you get 3 crown without losing any towers (which will be the perfect battle reward), you will get x amount of epic speed up. There is a legendary speed up, I’ll explain the whole speed up things later. But you know that the more crown you get in a battle, the more rewards you get.

Right now, the battle reward are just joke. It should be raised a lot more. Check this graph for details: Battle reward gold idea

Crown chest
The crown chest shouldn’t be 24 hours each. Make it one hour each. Just like clash of clans, the amount of time you payed into this game will show up. In clash of clans it’s shown on walls, in CR It’s shown on crown chest.

Unlock multiple chests at once depending on your level
After your king’s tower reached a designed level, you can recieve another chest slot. Which means that you could unlock multiple chests at a time. And there are also a chest storage. How many chest the storage can store is also depending on the level, range from 10 to 500. It also increases and your king’s tower level up. Here is a chart for it: chart #2



Problem 3: Tournaments

ProblemTournaments cost way too much
The tournament cost way too much to create. Create a 50 people tournament will cost you 500 gems! And the top prize is only a 30 card chest. I’m not explaining it anymore this is just totally unbalanced.

Win trading
I haven’t played a tournament with win traders in it, but many people have report that there are people win trading. Fix it SC!

Open tournament seems impossible to join
Regardless of what you do, It’s very hard to join an open tournament. All you do is just spam the search and join button and hope for the best. And the tournaments are also dried up. Right now, even if I spam the search for 1 minute, it will just keep showing a few same tournaments. Which means that they are dried up. Why? Because they are too expansive to create!

Stealing password
I seen people report this on the forum, people jump from clan to clan to steal the private tournament’s password. Well that doesn’t seems to be fair. You spent your own gems to create a tournament for your clan, but then someone just steal the password and get tons of unwanted people into your private tournament.

Selling tournament password and cheating tournaments
We have seen many people who creates large tournament and sale the password. The only way you can get in is by buy their password. Not only that, there are also people who just use tournament to get large amount of cards. Just check out Nova clan. Click on their co leaders and leader. Look at their tournament status. You will understand me.

SolutionsCheaper tournament cost
The tournament shouldn’t cost gems. It should have their own currency, which I’ll call it the tournament gems. You can buy the tournament gems in shop. 1 gem/15 golds = 5 tournament gems. And people can get 5 free tournament gems every 24 hours. To create a 50 people tournament, it will cost 500 tournament gems and so on. With the cheaper cost, the rewards can stay at the current amount. And tournaments won’t just dried up. Which will also solve the joining open tournament problem. You just hit 3 birds with 1 rocket.

Stealing password
The people who started the tournament should be able to kick people out before the tournament starts. If a player got kicked, he/she can no longer join this tournament. After tournament started, people can’t be kicked out. Before tournament starts, player’s deck will be hidden to prevent the tournament starter kick people who uses bad decks. (Like if the tournament starter hate royal giants, he/she can kick out all royal giant players. But with the hidden deck feature, nobody can see each other’s deck).

Selling passwords, and cheating with tournament.
Just do a permanent ban on those people who are doing it. A PERMANENT BAN, not a life time ban! The permanent ban should be 1 or 2 days depending on how severe it is. If the player were caught the second time, he/she will receive a lifetime ban. There should be a report player section in the supports. To report a player, you must have pictures taken that can prove the player who’s selling password or cheating. And Supercell will verify it and ban the player if necessary.

Win trader
I can’t solve that. Giving them a 1 day ban may be is just too much for win trading. Anyone have any ideas?
