I am not sure if this is on all trainers, but this happens every time on the Marty trainer.

If after the first 30 seconds you do not deploy any offense (Valk, Musketeer, Dragon, etc...) and do not advance towards the Princess towers, he will not deploy any troups. You can then use things like Lightning, Fireball, Rocket, Poison, Zap to destroy the King tower.

Stupid bug, but it seemed worth mentioning and fun to try out.
