General Start a Friendly Battle Without Having to Wait in Clan Chat

This is a weird glitch/neat trick if you want to start a friendly battle with someone but don't want to be stuck on the clan chat page until they accept.

Open the TV Royale tab and slide the page to the right just a bit until the "Friendly Battle" button appears on the screen. You will need to keep your finger on the screen the entire time or the game will pop over to the Clan tab. Press the "Friendly Battle" button and slide back to the TV Royale tab. While keeping your first finger still on the screen, tap the "Friendly Battle" button in the popup and then "Watch" on any TV Royale match. Close the match and return to the Clan tab--your friendly battle request will be available to any clanmates who are interested in a match and you are free to open any tab in the app until someone accepts. If you want to cancel the match, just start a new friendly battle and hit the cancel button at the top of the tab as usual.
