Okay, just a heads up here: I feel like my internet may be contributing to this somewhat, but I feel as if supercell may be able to do something on their end as well. I've noticed that when I battle or even spectate a live battle at my house, (yes we have poor internet, but it is reliable) it tends to lag or even disconnect me when they throw a horde card or swarm card such as Skarmy, minion horde, or barbs. Most specifically, the minion horde. As soon as they are thrown, my game pretty much shuts down on me. If I can get it back up and running, however, it is usually fine (will lag slightly when horde is dropped). I feel like supercell could be able to do something about this. Can they?
