iOS Gems not delivered. Supercell says contact Apple. Apple says contact Supercell.

Hey guys,

I went through a series of events yesterday, and at the end, I never got my gems. I just need to know what to expect if this happens again.

1. Bought $25 iTunes gift card to buy gems
2. Attempted to buy "bucket of gems" for $13.99
3. Apple requests security verification by answering security questions before in-app purchase.
4. Verification successful, account charged $13.99 (plus 13% HST)
5. No gems delivered, but transaction shows up in iTunes.
6. Searched the web, found supercell's website, and they say to contact Apple for refund.
7. Called Apple, refund started.

They told me that this is a courtesy refund on Apple's part, and that if I had the same issue, that I would have to contact Supercell (so no more refunds).

First off, this is concerning because it feels like Supercell and Apple are passing the buck to each other, and second, where would I begin to request for them to manually credit my account with gems?

I just want my gems, is that too hard to ask? :\
