General Buffer time when placing troops

So when You place troops there is obviously some time between placing the troops and it is indicated by a clock. But before that clock turns up I still have a long buffer time before placing troops and surely this must be fixed.

Second thing: because of this I missed out on a huge amount of trophies and now wasn't able to get enough crowns and purchase the crossbow in time. So just wondering if supercell does care more about their customers than just $$$$ and gift me trophies abd the crossbow I missed out on. And obviously fix this bug.
