iOS Cards Not Spawning on Field

I've lost many a tower when the "60 seconds left" notification pops up. I have dropped my troops so the circle is set on the screen, but if the 60 seconds left notification pops up on screen it resets the circle and the card stays in my hand. This delay is enough for me to lose a tower that could have been saved (eg not being able to arrow a minion horde in time).
I can only speak for the ios version of castle clash. Comment if the same has happened to you :P
