iOS Wont link from one iOS device to another

Played on iPhone for a couple of weeks, won't let me link current game to my iPad


  • Same Game Center account
  • logged out of both and logged back in various times
  • It wants to link new account (iPad) to my old account (iPhone)
  • no notification to link accounts on iPad despite Game Center welcoming me back


Can anyone help me? Thanks!

I have a similar problem, I have my iPhone connected to my ipod account, but I want to connect my iphone to my iPad account, which is lower, it won't let me connect a higher account to lower account.
