General What is Supercell Doing About the Game Not Loading for Some?

Is Supercell actually doing (or planning to do) anything to actively resolve the problems that started after yesterdays maintenance? I had to install VPN software just to get the game to update. Prior to that the game would crash at startup each time. I haven't seen any official statement and have seen many clashers complaining about it, unable to login.

Unfortunately there is no official word. I personally don't know why it's happening. I had this issue since 3 years ago when I was playing COC and found this solution randomly by trying to change my connection IP (in our country google servers had issues, our government and Google both blocked us from accessing some sites, that's why I was using VPN). I talked to few other GASPs and mods, we don't know why it's happening but it might be your ISP/Device cache issue or simply your connection can't download the update files. I think SC can't fix it because the reason on why this is happening is unknown or not on their part.
