Hello,

its because of the embedded URLs - although you only see 270 characters, your actual signature contains over 1600 characters.

If you edit your original post, in the options bar (above the post) in the top left hand corner there is a button that looks like 'A/A'. Mouse over the button and it should say 'Switch Editor to Source Mode' - if you toggle that button you will then see the actual code required for the links and colours in your signature. It is that code which is over 1600 characters - hence the problem.
