iOS Is there any way to recover my account?

Ok I just switched phones and signed into game center on the new phone, downloaded clash, launched it, i was at lvl 1, weird. Boot up old phone to find I was never signed into game center there, now the lvl 1 game seems to be permanently tied to my game center account. Is my old game lost forever forcing me to restart or can I provide someone my in game ID and get it back on my new device?
