Android Opening an arena 3 chest in arena 4

I don't know if this is on purpose but when I got a gold chest in arena 3 and then I moved up to arena 4 and opened that gold chest I was able to get cards that can only be gotten in arena 4, even though the chest was called "arena 3 chest".
