General Arena 8 chest while in Arena 9

I have been hovering between Arena 8 and Arena 9. Recently, I got back into Arena 9, Legendary Arena, and was getting ready to open a new chest. When I selected one of my locked chests, it showed that it was an Arena 8 chest instead of an Arena 9 one.

Am I missing something that makes these chests Arena 8 instead of my current Arena, Arena 9? This is happening on both iOS and Android. Attached Images
