Being able to watch your friends battle is a great feature but there is a problem with allowing spectators.

With the current setup, there is nothing stopping someone from spectating their own live matches while playing! It is not very difficult for someone to start a new clash account, creating a new facebook account, and then grabbing a second device to just spectate their own matches.

You really need to consider removing these two items from spectators view:

Removing the list of cards on live matches
Removing the live elixir counter

Even though the card list still doesn't tell which 4 they have to choose from, it can still be used as a visual reference. Also the running elixir bar, we all know how one could benefit from knowing what level elixir their opponent currently has.
