iOS Loud bang from speakers when starting the application

There is quite often a very loud bang that can be heard for a split of a second when the application starts. For the very first time time, this caused my iPad air to break the speakers so that there was no voice at all after the bang. I was afraid that the speaker was damaged but restarting of the iPad recovered situation.

The case is like turning the volume to max for a half second when the startup screen loads. The IPad air1 is with all the latest iOS patches.
