Android Friendly game request get loose as result of incoming call

I activated friendly game request and received phone call. After call ended, I got back to the game. The request was still there, but I could navigate as if it wasn't and I could initiate another friendly game request. Cancel canceled only the newer request living the old one hanging. Getting out of app and back did not clear the request either.
