General Card Select Lag - So Annoying

If you have a card selected, then you quickly tap a different card and tap on the playing field, the original selected card is dropped instead of the newly selected card. And I know the game registered my first tap to select the card because after the first card is dropped, the new card is shown as selected. There is a split second lag where if you tap a different card and tap the playing field, the newly selected card does not drop. This has ruined so many games for me, it's frustrating. Please fix.
