iOS CR Account Linked to Phone not GC

I started the CR last Wednesday or so and it's been a great game so far. (other than the super long chest wait times) But recently I wanted to start a new account on my phone but I can't because of some problems i've run into. Heres the rundown.

So I started my currently one and only account on my iPad and after seeing it was a game I was going to be playing often I put the same account on my iPhone with the same GC logged in on both. Now, I want to start a new one on my iPhone so I logged into my second GC account and shut the game down and started it back up in hopes of it loading the message saying something along the lines of "do you wish to keep this account or switch to this other one." But it didn't and instead welcomed me to my new GC (not the one I first made it with) and kept it on the old GC's CR account. I've tried redownloading it and logging in and out of both GC's but what I finally came to the conclusion was it seems to be somehow linked to my phone instead of the GC. Which seems impossible since I didn't even make it on my phone. I have checked iCloud and there is no data for clash royale saved in there either. If there is a way around this please let me know! Thanks.
