First and foremost I'd like to thank you for adding another great addition to the clash universe. And with every newly added game, there will of course be bugs and problems just waiting to destroy your ability to run the game. Instead of ranting about how displeased I am because that's what every other forumer would do, I am making this post as detailed as possible in order for you to gain the information to fix the problem.
My Account. My in-game name is "Zyzz" and I am a level 6 in the clan "Invidia Kingdom." Feel free to examine my account as one sample of the population of accounts that are also receiving the same problem.
What is the bug? As you can see in the title, I am unable to log into my account. Let me be more specific, the game loads up to about 50% and then fades into an unending black screen before even reaching 100%. The game remains black with no signs of the beautiful blue colours of Clash Royale returning.
What happened prior to this bug? Pay attention to this part, Supercell. I had just woken up in the morning PST, and decided to play a couple of games. I had about 3-4 normal games running. Next, I hit the battle button only to be stuck in the "waiting to find an opponent" screen for about a good 8-10 seconds or so. This is unusual in the Spell Valley arena (5). Because of so, I hit cancel. About 2 seconds after hitting cancel, I actually end up popping into a game.
I watched as the game started with the cards being prepped. As I dropped my first troop which was the the spear goblins, I watched as the faded troop image sat on the screen as it normally does only to disappear with the card returning to my deck. This was when I knew the game was buggy as I decided to wait the game out a bit to see if it would load or fix itself. Eventually, it did not and instead, I decided to close the app. Upon relaunch of the app, this was when I encountered the bug for the first time and up til' now, still continue to do so.
How do you know that this is a problem with your account and not your phone? I know that this is a problem with my account because I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application. Upon the beginning of the app, it loaded perfectly fine and even brought me to my first training match. A window popped up asking if I wanted to load my "Zyzz" account, and of course, I hit yes. The game relaunches and, you bet, the bug continues.
What solutions have you already tried?
UPDATE (1 HOUR AFTER THIS POST):I am able to get back on the game! When I launched the app, a window popped up @ 50% warning about how the game can be sped up with in-app purchases. I was confused why it popped up because normally it only does so when you first start the game. After I hit "okay" my account loaded up as normal! Check yours now to see if it works now too. If it doesn't, then you might just have to wait an hour or so like I did.
