I have encountered for quite a while now game start lag issues. Sometimes when my game starts my opponent has a troop already placed at the border coming in for an attack. By the time I am able to select a card they are halfway to my tower.

The other lag issue I encounter is a delay when placing troops. I select a card with enough elixir, yet there is sometimes up to a second delay before the card is played. This delay is not counting the required deploy time of specific cards. That time begins after the placement delay.

These issues have been sporadic over the time I have been playing; however, the last week or so they have been quite frequent. The amount of lag is getting quite severe. In a recent game I placed a fireball to support my hog. Hog was maybe a quarter way to the tower when I played the card. By the time fireball hit the tower, my hog was dead and the minion horde my opponent played was halfway to the border. Only two of his minions were effected. I don't know how long that is in seconds, but it seemed about 2. That's significant lag that changes the course of the game.

I have had many others similar to this, but this was the longest one yet.

Any others experiencing this amount of lag? Is it a known issue that's being worked on? Is it something with my device (iphone) or its settings?
