General Pathfinding with Hogriders

I have noticed in a few matches that, if you use a giant/giant skeleton then a hog-rider behind them, they get stuck behind them once they begin to attack a target.

It is more painful too watch with a giant skeleton since they attack anything which causes the hog-rider to move right then back to the left as if it can't decide which way to go... which kinda negates the fact of using a unit to sponge damage so the hog-riders can do their thing.

With giants, kinda the same deal only they seem to hug its ♥♥♥ rather than move around them even if you stagger the drops. Once they reach the tower it's not as bad to watch as the hog riders try to figure out which way to move around.

If this was intended... well... o.o; they are giants... why can't they move through their legs... or do they not want to touch giant balls? If that is the case... that wouldn't explain the issue with giant skeletons since.. well.. they are just bones...
