Hi. Card levels in tournaments and challenges will only leveled down to tournament standards, cards will not level up. There are only specific type of challenges that the cards will level up to tournament standards. In those challenges you have to make your deck in challenge tab (not from your card collection and card slots) and you can pick any cards available in the game (not just the cards you have. For example if you don't have electro wizard, you can still use him in your deck).
