iOS Match starts but becomes stuck

Happened a few times now. We get matched and it starts but then elixir doesn't increase and the troops we drop don't spawn. Our elixir gets depleted and we can chat but that's it. Game timer doesn't move and have to force quit the app to leave match.

Seems to happen to me and the opponent. Using iOS. Not sure what opponent is using.
