I basically opened up a golden chest, waiting for 8 hrs to open it. When it had 20mins left, I used 3 gems and the chest just disappeared and the game ate my 3 gems. I checked my deck to see whether I got any new cards. I got nothing but 3 gems less.

This one time I got a magical chest and so I when to open it then something sent me to home screen and my chest was gone after savoring gems over a week

yeah i opened a gold chest this morning and had the disconnect symbol, re-opened the game and the chest was gone and i didn't get any items.
