I tried canceling a battle last night but the cancel button did nothing. A second later I was in a match when I shouldn't have been.

To verify whether it was a bug (or flat out broken), I tried canceling a second game I started and that one canceled as expected.

In short, the Cancel button seems unreliable, possibly broken sometimes.
