I mentioned this prior to the latest updates so I'll try again.

Sometimes units register as dead and are ignored by opposing forces but they are still alive. I'll give an example.

mini pekka running toward my tower to attack it. I drop goblins to distract. As he gets stabbed and tagged with tower arrows his health is depleted. The remaining goblins run off and towers quit engaging. However. Mini pekka is still chasing the remaining goblins who are now ignoring it. After my troops think it's dead it's still running around for 1-2 seconds before it realizes it's dead.

In many cases and scenarios, that's enough time for an enemy unit to get a final blow off on a unit that's ignoring it or even a tower. That can completely throw a match.

Something to strongly consider.
