iOS Epic cards issue

I'm in arena 3 . But I've only 3 epic cards in total. 1st one baby drag found in 1st magical chest ,2nd & 3rd one is spell , goblin Berrel and lightning . I've got giant chest also but didn't get any epic. All of my friends started playing This game 2 or 3 days after me. They have found 5-6 epic cards and some of them also upgraded . Neither they nor I have make any purchase in the shop. My question is why they found so many epic cards and why I don't get ? Is that a problem in my phone or something bug? they play in android and me in iphone4 , is that the problem ? Hoping for a good answer.
