General Not rewarded final card from chests

This has happened to me several times over about 6 months. I never worried too much about it, but now it's happened twice this week.

Both times this week it has happened with a free chest. The chest says that I still have one more card to claim. When I tap my screen an animation begins and then abruptly stops and the chest, along with my final card, disappears.

Now, I had thought maybe I was tapping too fast. I began letting each card animation fully finish and then tapping one time only to see if there was an error with the game or myself. Today it happened again and I am sure of it this time.

I let each animation finish and tapped my screen once to begin the next and when I had one card left to reveal.. An animation begins and then abruptly stops and the chest just vanishes.

Anyone else having this issue?
