Hi.

It might be an issue with the cache files and storage space. How much space you have available on your device? Clash Royale use around 300MB of cache files (I saw personally 900MB cache size). If you don't have enough space your device will clear the cache files regularly (including CR files) and when you want start a battle CR is looking for them, since they're deleted the game will try to make Cache files again and that will cause issue.

Let me know about your storage size and if having more storage available fixed your issue or not.
