Android Match timer and elixir collection stopped

So I went to play a match of Clash Royale and the match ended up basically freezing. The Emoji's for ingame still worked between me and my opponent but elixir collection and match timer had stopped and troops wouldn't drop. Below I will post a video of the bug happening.

All I did was click on the Battle button and stepped into a match only for this to happen. I've had other battles since this so it is not a persistent bug but I would just like to address the fact that this actually happened. Hope this doesn't become an issue :3. Hope this helps if anyone else has had this problem.
