General Cant Update

Hi folks,
I was playing Clash of Clans on my Laptop (using the Blue Stacks 2 Android emulator), when this popped up to try. I did so, and quite enjoyed it. So I dropped a few £. Now when I log on, it tells me 'Good news there is an update available', and I have tried to update it via Google Play, but that tells me to Pre-register. On checking out the web about this, I found I am probably not meant to have this yet, as I live in England (or the UK). Now it may be that Blue Stacks 2 itself it to blame as it appeared as a pop up on the PC, not as an advert.
Now I have two accounts, and I cannot find how to update them. Can anyone help, or do I have to wait for the general release in the UK? I'm perfectly willing to act as a Beta Tester in the UK (I work in computers) if the admin want me too, as that was all I could assume my having the game was (if it was not a mistake/bug).
Can anyone help please?
