Thumbs up? Really? Did Supercell really just mock me by BM'ing me with a thumbs up? I interpret that as Supercell saying, "Thanks for giving us your money. We're sorry that we released an update without testing it that cost you money, but since we already have your money we don't really see the benefit in fulfilling our obligation. But again, thanks for your money, now go buy chests and you might get some of the 100 Dart Goblins that you already paid for!"


Supercell admits this was their bug. They say that they've fixed it. But because of my enthusiasm* for Clash Royale I'm being punished and won't be receiving the offer I already paid for. (*meaning I bought the Dart Goblin pack right away because I'd been waiting all day to buy it. Apparently we're supposed to wait for Supercell to fix unknown bugs before buying things)


I want my 100 Dart Goblin cards. I bought the gems, and I bought the Dart Goblin starter pack deal. Now I feel like I'm being punished for being so enthusiastic about the game that I wanted to get the deal as soon as it was released. And instead of correcting their mistake they mock me with a thumbs up BM me and tell me to spend more money on chests.
Don't get me wrong, I love the CR developers. This is such a polished and intuitive app that works flawlessly at scale. But they know, and I know how easy it would be to fix this mistake. So likely this is bizdev deciding that instead of doing right by their customers and fixing the problem they created they'd rather not spend the development costs, and instead see this as a perfect way to spin this into asking you to spend more money to open chests.


This is a serious tell to what Supercell management thinks of their customers.


I am so unbelievable insulted by this. I'd compare this experience to waiting in line to buy an iPhone only to pay for it and open up an empty box. Then having Apple tell me they had a problem with the first batch of deliveries and while everybody else behind me will get the iPhone they paid for, the only thing I'll get is store credit to buy more boxes that may or may not have an iPhone in them.


I paid money for the 100 Dart Goblins and I want to get what I paid for. I love this app so much, so I have faith Supercell will do the right thing, but if they chose not to do the right thing at least I know Apple's excellent refund policy will allow me to recoup every last cent I put into this game. Let's just hope it doesn't come to that.
